Hi, my Name is Eshed. I’m a multidisciplinary designer and illustrator based in Tel Aviv, Israel. in my works i pursue themes like: identity, locality, and the tensions between sleazy and elegant.
My work is influenced by punk and rave graphics, skateboarding aesthetics, Israeli and Middle Eastern culture. I would be super excited for collaborations in any of those.

//About//
Posters and moving poster to an event which hold a series of lectures, that inspire writers and creators, and help them break the creative barrier. inspired by Etgar's Keret story "50 pages MAX". The story is about an author who cant finish his book because of all sorts of distractions, between a war waging in Israel to a child of a friend getting sick and about to die. from my point of view the writer tried to convey the idea that life is tough and ruthless. the illustrations in the posters capture my interpretation of breaking the creative barrier as a loop, and also a hidden deeper meaning.

//Deep Dive//
The images and visual style of the project, was chosen to imply the sense of melancholy and naivety while using the themes in the original story. each poster symbolizes an an idea that's related to the story, but also represents an historical or modern event thats related to the theme.
[10] represents the endless scrolling through the web in times of war in Israel, the endless screen of bomb sirens on tv, the infinite hours of youtube and binging, shopping online and violente thoughts about arms. the mouse cable cut in the middle represents the events concept, breaking the loop.
[11] represents the tower of refrences built on the antagonist desk while trying to gain insporation, but the illustration also hints to the tragic mythical event, the fall of babel tower.
[12] represents the pots that keeps on pouring coffee and tea to the cup of the sleepless author. the hidden representation of the illustration refers to cultural hot drinks pots, the arabic traditional coffee pot, the portable coffee pot that is widely used in the Israeli army by soldiers to make cofffee, and the british tea pot.
The fonts in use - David Libre (Google Fonts) and Sixty Seven (Fontef), was used to bring back the typewriting and literary Look and feel.
